Any Xcaret Park prices/weddings/contact?

Recommended Posts

So, we are booked to have our wedding at the Blue Parrot for Janaury 3rd, 2009, but after a visit to Playa last week, we are considering moving the wedding. I have started e-mailing the people at XCaret Eco-Park, and Liliana has e-mailed me back the same day I e-mail her :-) (good sign!) My biggest concern (besides price) is that they won't even let us START the wedding until 6:00 for the ceremony at the chapel, 7:00 at the Ponds for the cocktail hour, and 9:00pm for dinner at Dos Playas restaurant. The sun will set at 5:20, so the whole thing will be after dark. It seems odd to pay a bunch for this beautiful place but not be able to enjoy it at all during the day light!!

Anyway, here are some pics of a wedding here with a dinner in Dos Playas (I THINK, please tell me if I am wrong!) matt adcock photography

And here are 3 short videos of weddings here

Jaime, I would LOVE any info you could pass on about this place! I have all of the price lists and everything, but I would love any pictures you took while you were there and what you might think about doing the wedding after dark? Also, do you know if the pond area is located on the ocean? Do you have any pictures of it? We are having 100 guests. Do you think that La Isla restaurant would look empty with that many people? From the pictures I have seen, I think we like Dos Playas a little better. What where your thoughts after seeing the place? I would be SO GRATEFUL for ANY info you have! If you can send pictures, send them to zeemuir@rmlearning.com

THANKS!!

Although, I wasn't married there I went there on my honeymoon, and just got back from there for a second time. It's beautiful and there was a wedding reception going on in one of the bigger areas by the underwater river. The reception was awesome looking, who knows maybe it was someone on here, it was friday may 9th.

We ate at the Blue Parrot, it was good and another place is Casa Del Agua, That place was also very good!

Do they do all of their ceremonies like this or is that the only time they do it in the chapel?

The information they sent me said they won't start ceremonies in the chapel before 6:00pm, at the Ponds before 7:00pm, and actually I think they will start a reception at La Isla (the cave) at 7:00pm as well. I've put in a request to start the ceremony sooner sooner, so I'll let you all know what they say. Here are 2 more wedding slideshows at XCaret. LOL Yes I fell in love with all three of the photographers at Del Sol. Their pictures are actually one of the reasons we are thinking of the Rivera Maya. wink.gif

Can't wait to hear what you find out from xcaret.

Anita... you can have your cocktail hour at the "ponds" which is where the stone altar is, you have the ocean as your backdrop. That will cost you $2,100. But that doesn't include food or drinks. If you do anything in Xcaret it will be expensive. I have an email from the wedding coordinator, PM me if you'd like me to forward it to you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
