TTD is Trash the Dress. It is a photo session where you and your Hubby get together and do a photo shoot, whether it be walking around the town near your resort, on the beach and in the ocean or some even jump in a pool or a river.

 

I don't think it really "trashes" the dress, but it is a way to have some fun with your new husband, the day after your wedding in your dress.

Thank you! Huge relief! That's what I thought it was. Sounds like a really fun idea. Now do you use your original wedding dress or do you buy a second one that you wouldn't mind destroying? I haven't bought my dress yet b/c I'm not getting married until July but so far I'm thinking about wearing a short dress, very casual. I have found a couple of cute ones online by Mori Lee and Casablanca.

I bought a second dress for mine because I was afraid my wedding dress would be too heavy wet. I am going to sell it soon though if you need one. I think it is a size 4?

You could also look at getting a white/ivory BM dress.
I think I'm going to use my wedding dress for TTD but buy a cheap BM dress in white for my AHR (well...backyard BBQ!)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
