What's your worst bridezilla moment?

I had a pretty bad one today. I was pissed at my parents for buying my dad a tie that would clash with my flowers. And then mad at my mom for wearing wedges to our wedding on the beach. Oops! Was I seriously mad that my dad's tie would clash with my flowers or that my mom would end up having to carry her shoes? Geesh!

LOL, we have all had our moments. I feel like I'm getting worse now that my wedding is soon.

My worst moment, is I got into a fight on the phone with Banana Republic cause they sent me the wrong color twice for the GM pants. My FI was not supportive, so I throw the pants at him while he was in the office on the computer. I then ran upstair, slammed the door and started to cry. LOL...such a bitoch. I felt so bad, my FI just laughed.

I haven't had one - YET. But I laughed really hard yesterday when I watched a trailer for "Bridezilla" and they played like this re-mix of different brides flipping out. It sounded like thissad.gifthink of a techno beat)

"It's my day!!!"

"It's It's Its's, my day, my day!!!

"I't's my day!"

"When I say what I want- that's that's, that's what I want!"

"It's my friggin day!!!"

- Ok- I have no idea if anyone has seen this yet but it's really funny. :)

That's a good one, Yari muscle.gif LOL!

FI just seems to kind of laugh at me too and make monster faces. blush2.gif

I was pretty Bridezilla earlier on in August when my sisters would not answer any of my emails about BM dresses and I was worried they wouldn't find one that I liked, etc.
I'm happy to report that I managed to tame myself over Sept and then a few days ago they actually went out to look at one that I loved and they love it and we're almost set to order them. Phew!

my mom wore wedges. i'm confused. are you worried they will sink into the sand? I thought wedges were fine on sand. she didn't have any trouble. they were super cute too.

last night's was tragic. they are really picking some sad brides where the drama is less about the wedding & more about the bride just being an all around crazy person. still, i never miss an episode.

Well my worst Bridzilla moment has got to be about my dress...

My FI and I were not living in the same place (17 hours away from each other) when I was dress shopping so I asked him what type of dress he though would look nice with our casual wedding, such as long, short, lacy...you know just the basics and he kept saying he did not care...which just made me madder and madder...I guess I wanted him to say something like "you should get a long dress with lace and flowers and bows.." LOL By the end of the phone conversation I was crying hysterically and not making any sense and my FI could do nothing for me.

The next day I realized that I was out of hand and apologized...so not even when I am excited or fretting over something small he starts to act like Frankenstein and makes this weird voice "Bridzilla...arg..." It is quite funny but puts me back in my place...

I never thought I would get this way...it is funny how it just happens...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
