Hello!

I was wondering if I could get some help w/ my invite. I need to know how to word the ending.

We are having a cocktail hour then the dinner.

Do I say: Cocktails/Dinner immediately following Ceremony

or do I just say Cocktails immediately following Ceremonyhuh.gif

I think Cocktails and Dinner immediately following Ceremony or Reception immediately following ceremony. Just saying cocktails makes it like its just exactly that...cocktails. You dont want people to eat before your party because they think they are not going to be having a meal.

I plan to put something like 'cocktails and dinner following ceremony' in mine- just to let everyone know what the plan is. I'm also including a mini wedding day timeline in my oot bags, because with our ceremony at 2, even though we are planning to have the cocktails right afterwards, there might be a little break, and I want all the guests to be on the same page with things!

Thanks Guys!

Now I have a dilemma w/ one of the sentences in our invite. I got it from this site..however, my fiance is saying it is not correct in the way it is worded..what do you thinkhuh.gif

Invite You to Share the Sun, Sea and Memories of Our Wedding Day

He states that when you break down the sentence, it reads like this:

Invite you to share the sun of our wedding Day

Invite you to share the sea of our wedding Day

Invite you to share the memories of our wedding day

I think he is looking way too much into this..what do you think??

Hey,

I don't know if you have done your invites yet, but I would say "cocktails, dinner, and dancing following ceremony"

You want to include both cocktails and dinner so your guests know what to expect foodwise, but adding the extra word helps with the flow...unless there's no dancing, then you have a problem....

also, I like sun, sea & memories....no problems there!

good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
