He is the most adorable caring man I know and he still can't be bother with wedding details. He only cares that is on a beach (it doesn't matter where).

So make sure you make good use of his input, it is one of the most wonderful things you could have while preparing your special day.
My FI said the same thing, "we have 10 months, you're trying to plan everything in a week" umm, we now have less than 6 months and I still don't have everything finalized and probably won't until the very last minute! I love him, but he has no clue!

Me: "Ok. Good idea."

So, later on I call him. I say "Hey, how about I print them, cut them out, then glue all of them on one cardstock."

He says, "Excellent idea, why didn't I think of that?!"

ha!
Thats great that he wants to be so involved, god I wish I could get mine to do something! We got into a discussion about something wedding related last night and he said again as he always says, all he cares about is me showing up for the wedding and seeing me walk down the aisle in my dress, the rest doesn't matter. And in actuality, he is right in a sense that the marriage is the most important part, not all of the minor details.

but I like the details, hahabunny_4.gif

  • 1 year later...

I thought I would share my Groomzilla story. I can't stop laughing...

So, Ryan's stepmom emailed me yesterday to tell me that his Gma was going to be wearing white to the wedding. I was like yeah whatever I don't care, but Ryan flipped out LMAO. He called his stepmom and was like "NO GRANDMA ISN'T WEARING WHITE!!" OMG I lost it. He went on saying if she wears white I am going to accidently spill wine all over her LOL. He was so mad, he kept going on and on about how this is our wedding and it's the first and last for both of us blah blah blah! He cracks me up! smile124.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
