Sweating and pictures...

So I have looked at several slideshows of all you lovely ladies that have posted ( love them!) and notice that everyone looks super dry and fresh.

I am sort of scared that I will be sweating like a maniac on my wedding day. I am still dress hunting so clearly am not looking for heavy material but did you guys have to powder up constantly or something? I see no shiny foreheads. I'm not a huge makeup person so I'm just curious.

Thanks for sharing!

i didn't reapply once. i was only sweating during the pictures tho, as it was a sunset ceremony and there was a breeze, and then it was cool during the reception. just remember - photoshop/lightroom can fix anything! (even the bump on my nose that i hate!)

That's a good idea too. Boscia also makes them. I like their skin care line but haven't tried their blotting papers yet. I think they're $10/pack.

I was sweating my ass off and I think you can tell, LOL. They even stopped the ceremony twice to wipe us down. Poor Mike has sweat literally dripping off his nose! I think he teared up during our ceremony but was able to play it off.

I used a mineral powder based make up and didn't re-apply. As stated before, photoshop is a wonderful thing. DH's suit was silk, and as people came up to hug him, he got a few spots on the suit. GROSS! But our photog was able to get that out. I also bruise really easily and had a nasty spot on my arm that she took care of.

You will have so much going though your mind you won't notice!

I am glad to hear that behind the scenes so to speak you were sweating. :) I sweat when I am walking to the subway and FI makes fun of me cause he's dry as a whistle (is that the saying?). He looks at me like I'm a science project. he actually said to me the other day " I wish I could sweat like you you are probably ridding yourself of toxins all the time." wtf.gif I don't even need to be exerting myself I am just the sweating kind. The glistening kind rather. I don't smell though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
