I think I have most of the info covered for the STD

There will be about 6 boarding passes...

First one will have "save the date" with our names, dates, location, and hotel. Also mention formal nvite to follow.

Second one will have "you're invited" and why we are sending out the STD with the tentative RSVP.

Third one will a list of accomodations with prices starting for 3 nights. I also mention the max room capacity for each place, and state prices are subject to change based on # of guests booking and when packages are booked. Also mention that we will pay for the pass to attend the wedding if they stay at a different hotel besides the Grand.

Forth one is about reminders for passports, vaccinations, and update people with kids to arrange for childcare day of the wedding.

Fifth one contains out TA information, our wed site link with password, our contact info, and hotel links (maybe - haven't decided yet)

Sixth one is the tentative RSVP for yes, maybe, no, how many people, and possible hotel choice. Also when to repond by and how to respond.

Anything else you think?

I'll probably have to get them printed else where because my print is acting crappy.

Or do you think that is too much information for the STD because I will be sending out a formal invite later then a more detailed follow up passport after the formal invite.

I think that's too much information. You can put all extra information on a wedding website so your guests can visit and get more detailed information. The main information needed on a STD is name of couple, wedding date, wedding location, hotel name and travel agent. If you get a wedding web page, then place that link on the STD.

I tend to say "give people the most information possible to make a good choice." I may be alone in saying I don't think you have too much info. I see my STDs as a way to say "this is what we are doing and this is what you need to do to come." and my invites as a formal reminder/keepsake for those who are not coming.

I'll post all the information on my website, but chances are, people aren't going to read my site top to bottom to get everything they need.

If you want to cut some stuff out, the passports/vaccinations can be taken out -- that would be excellent to include in a wedding newsletter. You could also try and combine the accomadations in to 1 page and include hotel rates/TA information.

If I got an STD to a DW, I'd want more information that not...

wow, that is a TON of info! i think it's fine the way it is, but if you're looking to make changes, you could put the vaccination stuff on the website. i'd leave the passport stuff in only b/c some people don't realize they need a passport to go anywhere, and b/c it does take some time. ...also you could put "see website for more accommodations". you def. want to consider postage...think about how heavy 6 pages of cardstock (i'm assuming cardstock) will be stapled together, and how much postage each one will be. i would take some cut outs to the post office, see how much it would weigh for each page and narrow it down from there.
