Just Bought An Elliptical...

Recommended Posts

...but I need some help!

I still have a bit more weight to lose and inches as well.

How often should I be using it? Minutes per day etc. I was on it for about 15 minutes so far today. Although I have been exercising etc. this is all new to me.

Any help would be appreciated!

I just fixed my elliptical... which was broken since Jan, so now that I'm starting on it again, I'm starting at 20 minutes. And I do the interval program, low resistance building up to harder, and then back down to easy again. My latest SELF magazine said that these types of programs are the best for weight loss.

Have fun!!

Hmm intervals...I'll have to take a look at the manual to see if I can do that. I can adjust the resistance myself and that's about it from what I can tell.

Ten minutes was all I could do...wish me luck because I think I'm going to need it!

Interval training is the best way to lose weight and drop inches. 45 minutes a day. You will more than likely need to work your way up to more resistance. If you really wanna get high tech find your highest fat burning heart rate and wear a heart monitor while doing it.

Thanks! It has a heart rate tracker...I have no idea what is the best rate though. I got up to 104 beats...is that good ?!?!

45 minutes per day smile41.gif I guess i'll get there but 10 minutes was enough to kill me. When was able to do squats & lunges I could get up to 60 per day or 60 per leg with the lunges..that was it.

I'm in big trouble!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
