I ordered my Wedding Dress today! (PICS)

Wow, I am still in shock. I wasn't planning on ordering my dress until Oct. or Nov...

 

I went with my Grandma to Lulu's boutique in Dallas. I tried on about a dozen dresses. We were about ready to wrap things up when I saw one dress hiding in the corner that I had not yet tried on. Sure enough, that was the one! It was actually the very first one I picked out. I loved it because it felt good on, and since I'm getting married at Las Caletas with a ton of stairs and whatnot that is very important! I did try on some gorgeous dresses that looked beautiful on me but like I said this one not only looked good on but it felt comfortable! It is a Diamond White Maggie Sotterro dress. I will have the front hemmed to about 1" from the floor, and have the train shortened about 18". It will bustle on the sides. I think it is the "Lavina" dress...

Ok I know y'all love pics so here you go! (Of course I had no idea that I'd actually BUY a dress today so please excuse the fact that I have no makeup on and badly need a haircut )

I loved Lulu's!!! It was so relaxed and wonderful. Thank you for telling me about them! :)

Now I just have to vow not to go in any other dress stores between now and next May and I'm set! lol

The dress will be in mid-November and then they will begin alterations shortly thereafter...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
