Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all of the updated info! I'm still waiting to hear back from Nancy about the photographer and a number of other things. #1 on my agenda is to find out why the outrageous fee for Sky Deck. Every time she writes me back (which hasn't been often) she copies the website description. So I guess that means its basically a room fee?! For a 20 min ceremony, I can't see spending $1500... If it includes a cocktail party or something, then I'm on board. So other than that location, she hasn't been able to explain anything else to me. I understand they may not know, but how are you supposed to work within a budget when you have no idea what you need to rent/buy/ reserve?? GRRR, frustrating... rant.gif

Thank you for posting the event kit. They have added some cool new things. The pre-selected menus start off surprisingly cheap. I will look at it more later, but the quick glance I did made me very hungry!

Pepper-I'm pretty sure they sky package price includes the cocktail hour.

Ok so I haven't really started looking at anything other than trying to get my photographer mess figured out, but after reading through some of the posts Im confused a little. The whole Lomas travel thing blows my mind. Is it too much for them to have it all in one document? Or at least something that says "here are your basic choices for decor, reception, etc" For further ammenities consult Lomas?? I mean give us something to go by because at this point Im not exactly sure what is included in my package! Ok so can someone tell me what our options are for a reception? I really just want to have a nice dinner on the beach after our ceremony. Is that even an option? I don't need all the dance floor and entertainment stuff since we will have that here at home. I thought I would check with you girls first about this before I attempt to squeeze any info out of Nancy about this. Oh and Im still waiting on a response about the photographer. If I don't hear back by Wednesday Im going to send Fabio an email and request a written approval like Jenny did. smile105.gif

About the Sky Package...Fabio told my TA that cocktail parties were not included. It was only for the ceremony.

We are like you -- wanted the sky package but have reconsidered because it seems like a bit much just for the ceremony.

Hey Everyone,

I just got my confirmation for my date but did anyone else think the Lomas and Karisma Policiies were a bit strict (like no wedding cake leaving the area, etc.)? I was already aware of the photography thing but some other stuff was interesting.

Mine is at 4pm but I was thinking maybe I should have done 5 since the policies say private dinners can't start till like 6pm (another interesting rule). How long do you think the ceremony is? Maybe 15-20 minutes? Then people would be sitting around for a bit before dinner starts (if we decide on a private reception)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
