omg tara that is SO horrible! so sorry that happened to you! we regularly fly back and forth to mexico city to visit my FI's family, and FI goes there for business once & awhile, and he almost always flies united, or AeroMexico when he can't get a united flight. he totally despises Mexicana and now you know why sad.gif the in-flight service is just piss poor and the people who work at customer service at the gate and when you check in to check luggage are not accomodating and in my experience, just plain rude.

I have searched and searched and can't find the answer. Anyone know off hand what Aeromexico's policy is on carrying on a pillow. Would it just be considered my personal item since I am not bringing my purse or anything?

I have a super bad back and really need my pillow.

I have Googled and looked on Aeromexico's website but no luck.

i think the weight limit is 2 bags at 50 lbs. i'm not sure but you might want to double check.

as far as the pillow, i have a pillow that has a strap on it. when i fly I clip it to my purse. i don't think a pillow will even count as one of your personal items. I always have a carry on, a minibackpack, & a pillow clipped to the backpack. I'm a total dork when i fly.

I'm a Flight Attendant for another airline and people often (well, not all the time, but I probably see an average of about 6 per month) bring their own pillow. Plus their carry on. I really can't see it being a problem, especially if you explain that you have a bad back and that you really need it! Have you thought about getting a note from your Doctor saying that you have to have it? Then if anyone hassles you at least you have something sort of official!

Ya, it is 50 pounds, not 70. 70 was for first class. However, I can't find if that is 50 pounds per bag or combined?

I don't know if the airline peeps would care about my note though? I hope it will be okay?

Now there is an idea! I never even thought about that. I tell ya, I have too much going on in my mind to let me think lately! Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
