Beautiful Pictures! We are using Cancun Studios too. Which gazebo were you getting married at?

Also, I had another question for you..
How much time did you allow between your ceremony and your reception to take pictures? I am afraid I will miss out on part of my reception because the ceremony starts at 6:00 and the reception starts at 7:00. What do you think?

I will definitely come by and take a peek at your wedding. I am sure I will see you around the resort, how long will you be there? It's pretty easy to spot me, I am 6'1 with blonde hair and Gavin (future husband) has a couple of tatoos. How would I recognize you other than obviously coming to your wedding?

We will be at the resort from 7/21-7/28. You will recognize us by our group of roudy drunken cajuns (my FI Micah's family - not mine!). Just listen for the group of people talking like the Bobby Bouche and that will be us! I'm short at just 5'1" with long brown hair and Micah is about 6'2 with black hair, goatee, and a big fleur de lis tatoo on his arm. Are you guys staying in a Casita? We'll look for you around the resort! Let the countdown begin!

This is how we worked out the pics.

1:30 Micah takes picks by himself and with groomsmen
3:00 I take pics by myself and with bridesmaids
5:00 ceremony
5:30-6:30 - Pictures of Raychel and Micah and a few of wedding party
6:30 dinner
9:00 reception

If you can take some of the pics before, this may help with your timing situation.

Thank you! That really helps me a lot. Have you heard of Gazebo Fuentes? I havent heard much about it on this wedding forum, but Monica says it's one of their newer gazebos. She says it's just as private as the Presidential Gazebo, but I am nervous about it. The one thing I do not want is to have a ton of people in bathing suites standing around watching, ya know?

HI Linz2511,

I will also be having my ceremony at the Gazebo Fuentes. I was there in May and took pics. If you want to see them, pm and i'll send them to you.

I think it's beautiful! I liked it even more than Gazebo 55 because it's greener (but, that's just me! ) :)

Aww- hearing all the "July brides" makes me want to do it again!!! I'm so going through Mexico/EDR withdrawals! Just want to let the future brides know that EVERYTHING will work out-- the timing of photographer, the location of your ceremony-everything. They are so amazing there with coordinating and organizing. I think we've had brides (on this forum) get married at almost every location on the resort, and they have all been so beautiful-- so it's def a win-win!

You guys will have such an amazing time- just enjoy every second of it!

Wish I was going back with you guys!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
