Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

So, I got some info from Jazmin! Here's what she told me:

The plan b for the privates events are into our meeting room ( salon tulum) who doesn´t have big windowns but it has a roof and air conditioning to cover the people and don´t stop the party,

I also asked about paying for an extra a la carte (so that if it we have our wedding dinner in the restaurant we're not using one of our guests a la cartes) and she said:

And yes, you can pay for have the retsaurant a la carte, and you can have you special dinner in there or use the menu of the restaurant and it wonñt count for the guest as 1 of their dinners,

the cost for 1 small restaurant is 2´450usd, a medium rest is 5´250usd and a big restaurant 6´300usd, + the private dinner or as I mentioned to you before you can choose your food form the menu of the restaurant,

I don't suppose anyone is going to be there anytime soon and can take pictures of the salon tulum for me? I asked Jazmin but she said she didn't have any. Since the price is the same (private dinner or renting the restaurant) I think we'll go for the private dinner. I just would love to see pictures of the room.

HOLY CRAP - I just 'previewed post' and saw that our wedding is in 3 months and 3 weeks! I don't have anything done!!!

Yep, I think it is thousands. I know, crazy, eh? And what's the small, medium and big restaurant? Plus this is the fee if you're eating the restaurant's menu. If you want the 'special dinners' (the food they serve for the poolside dinners) then it's the $46 US per person IN ADDITION to this fee.

You don't have to pay that price for poolside. If you choose to have your dinner in a restaurant but you want the 'poolside menu' instead of the restaurant menu, THEN you need to pay that price plus the per person. If you do the restaurant menu, then you just pay the price's above. And if you do the poolside dinner, then you just pay the per person price.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
