Morgan, you crack me up! I'm sure dress designers haven't even thought about what makes a good TTD dress. That might be a profitable thing for them to start marketing.
They should start. maybe speedo can get in the dress market. The first time I swam in it I thought i would drown. By the end of the trip I was a pro in swimming in my dress. The secret is to hike it up so your legs are not tangled in it.

Morgan - I cannot believe you are married!!!! I've watched your planning for so long! Now that you are married, means its almost time for me :) Congratulations on a beautiful wedding trip and I do admire your attitude about everything - I hope I am able to keep a great attitude, too (I sometimes let myself get caught up on little things)...one of our big reasons for a destination wedding was to avoid a lot of the fuss a big at home wedding can create.

So fun to see/hear about your wedding - thanks for all of the things you've shared!

just keep in perspective that no one will notice if things aren't the way you planned. people won't remember the details. they will remember the great time they had. my favorite wedding ever was so simple, but we had a blast.

my best memories are the great times I had with my husband, family & friends.

also, don't feel like you have to be in charge & on top of everything. that was the hardest part for us. it was hard not to feel like the group tour guide & just relax.

Welcome back and congratulations! I was just in NYC and haven't been around, so I missed you coming back, but got to see some of the preview pics before you came back :)

Glad you had such a fabulous time. smile159.gif And thanks for the review!

I may look into that hairdresser, because apparently mine is charging $160 or something outrageous... frown.gif

there is also annalisa who works in PDC. she was going to charge $100. maybe she would be less for you because she is in PDC. I don't know her contact info though. I've been told she is very good too.

$160 sounds way too high to me.

Her name is Doranna (I just checked my contract).
She's doing my hair for $115 and $60 each for my 2 sisters (BMs).
Guess it wasn't as much as I had thought.

At this point, I feel too tired to look for a deal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
