F#$@ T-Mobile!

I had T-mobile since I was 17. I loved it. My husband though had AT&T. Well I switched when he got me the iPhone. But we live in CO and there is no AT&T tower so after a certain amount of time with us "roaming" though technically we're not b/c we're going through other towers. But AT&T has to pay the companies of those towers so it's not worth it to them ANyways point is they will be cutting our service off at a certain time b/c of this. I'm pissed too but really nothing we can do. I wish I could have it. The only provider out here is Verizon ugh!

We get great service down here where we live, but the 3 years he has been traveling for work, T-Mo has been crappy!

I ended up taking my phone in and they are going to send me a replacement since it is still under warranty. They didn't have a lender phone, but we have an old standby we use when our phones break.

I called him and it worked....of course he couldn't answer because he doesn't have service, but at least I know they turned it back on. I am just going to tell him to turn the phone off and only use it in areas he knows he has service.

The guy at T-MO store said they rec'd an email about the roaming thing and the reason they are doing this is because it costs T-MO more when ppl roam. They are going to lose a lot of customers this way.

Harty....is 3 another carrier?

Not sure how I missed this thread. But, I'm glad everything worked out in the end. I just switched back to T-Mobile from Helio and it sucks. Which is why I said don't know how I missed the thread! LOL. I switched to T-Mobile from Sprint when I moved to the Netherlands and everything was fine. I used it for personal use and used my Vodaphone for work. Moved back to the States changed to Helio ($99unlimited) and changed back recently to Tmo since I had my son on it (myfaves). We could both have unlimited for $149 a month. Which is what I was paying for 2 separate phones and he only got 300min a month. Anywho...I've had it for 2 weeks now and I can't stand it. I drop calls all the time, my gps doesn't always work and my emails don't look like actual emails since Tmo doesn't really have a web browser. Giving it until Sunday. I have 20 days to cancel! Okay...sorry I just hijacked your thread!

Ha! You didn't threadjack! I usually love T-Mo, but I don't know what the heck is going on lately! I would love to say I hope your service gets better, but I doubt it will. censored.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
