I did a slideshow for my friend that was pregnant.... I went all the way from when they were babies to the present time at the very last frame I put up a picture of the their babies sonogram with a quote that said "Where there is great love there are always miracles". I did it to God Blessed the Broken Road. Maybe you could do something like that?

Hummmm Martha....let me think about this. I do like the idea of the both of you pouring in a different color sand for him.

I don't think a sono pic will fit in a locket, but love the idea of some sort of wedding jewerly for him. J

ames Avery has cute bangle bracelets that you could get with some sort of baby charm.

You can't put a charm on this, but I love it! It says "I Am With You Always".

I love this quote! It's awesome.

I think it's a cute idea to incorporate Noah, Martha. I hadn't really thought about it since my big belly in all of my pics seemed like incorporating already. :-)

You could mention something about him in your vows, also. I had planned to mention my future step-son in my vows already but might add Hannah now.

What about a charm on a bracelet. You could get Noah stamped or engraved on a little charm and then maybe add his birthstone.

If you are doing a religious ceremony, maybe you can incorporate the scripture that talks about God knows who you are and who you will be even while you are in your mothers womb... I'm having a brain fart about where in the Bible this is, Jeremiah I think, but I can find it if you are interested.

Thanks for the ideas ladies! Touching if the belly and even kissing the belly will be a given. Jay is so in love with this boy already! It makes my heart melt.

I definitely love "where there is great love there are always miracles." It is so fitting since we never thought I could get pregnant. I will try to incorporate that saying!

Martha, I don't know if you plan on trying for other children (I know this baby is a miracle for you) but if I was baby #2 and my parents sand ceremony was sitting there with a color for my brother but not for me I would feel weird-but then again I was an only child so I don't really get the dynamics of siblings.

I love the idea of the slideshow or the bracelet, I agree a locket would be too small for a sono picture.

Christine, I didn't think about that. I have 5 siblinbgs and if my mom was pregnant when she and my dad got married and they had something from their marriage symbolizing my older sibling, I don't think I would mind. But then, how would I know since that never happened?

I think I am going to do the charm thing and have his name engraved on it and have my Dad mention him when he prays for us....and somehow use the saying Kat has used.

I don't think there is an area my resort has a palce where we could show a slideshow, besides in all honesty, I have no time to put it together, especially since all of FI's pictures are 4 hours away and I still have SO much to do.

okay another thought, when your DH kisses you, then have him kiss your belly, make sure the photog knows this is coming and takes a couple of shots of it. I think that shot alone will be enough to give to Noah when he is older-he will appreciate it. I have a photo of me kissing my step-sisters belly at my wedding and its something that we all have framed, my dad has it at work, its just one of those memories we will never forget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
