I am still waiting for the link. Apparently, if you book 20+ you get a free private reception and if you book like 30 you get unlimited receptions.

Also, I in my room contract, if your people book 3 nights or more they get activities (dolphins, pyramids etc)..which is a really good thing for our guests.

Anyway, just curious how much you guys are paying through your TA for the rooms, I didn't get a TA for the rooms and I am paying 422 for double occupancy for April 2009.
damn my TA better have gotten me free swimming with the dolphins!. Argh i have 6 rooms booked so far and I just asked my TA about the free reception deal and she said that hopefully if we get 10 rooms i can qualify but she'll have to double check. I hope im not getting screwed. Im thinking i should have booked directly with MP

As long as you have a contract through them, then I'm sure you get the same things. If you have 10 rooms booked for 3 or more nights each, you'll get a free coctail hour. Also, anyone staying at teh MP for 3 or more nights is entitled to free excursions. If you go to their website, then go to tours, pick cancun and included tours you can see a list of them and their descriptions. I think swim with the dolphis is promotional though...

oh ok. Im such a worry body. You know when i went into this destination wedding thing im thinking oh how much easier it should be rather than a wedding here. Forget that idea. A lot has to go into these things. Cant the men do all this and us brides will just show up and look pretty??!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
