Recommended Posts

I took a break from this b/c I got sick but I need to crack the whip so I will be back to this diet tomorrow. Can't wait to have that flat feeling instead of the awful full feeling I have right now. Stay strong ladies, you can do this! grouphug.gif

Did you get more energy and feel a lot better when you did it? How long were you on it before you got sick?

I think I'm going to weigh myself so I know where I start.

Question abuut tomorrow...you know how they say try to stay away from dry beans, does that mean kidnee beans and chick peas...even canned ones?? sad.gif
I think the reason they say to stay away from beans, peas, and corn, is because those are considered starchy vegetables and will add more calories.

I started this morning too, going good so far!

I had soup for breakfast (because I knew I wouldn't be home at lunchtime so it was easier to bring fruit with me) I had a big bowl of fruit salad for lunch, an apple in the car this morning, and then some cherries in the car this afternoon. I just ate my dinner soup and I'm going to cut up a watermelon in a few minutes. I haven't really been hungry all day until now, now I'm starving!

Between all of the water, black coffee, and soup I had today I have been in the bathroom every 10 minutes!

Hope everyones day is going well, stick with it!cheer2.gif

Tonight was a bit hard...I was dying for something with more substance than veggie soup and watermelon LOL

We went to the grocery store and stocked up for tomorrow and Wed.

Then we came home, I made another pot of soup (so when we run out, I don't have to rush to make it). While that was cooking, I heated up some left over soup with red pepper, FI just ate watermelon...When I sat down to watch tv tonight, I ate a bunch of grapes and I'm not even the slightest bit hungry (FI made a BIG fruit salad).

All in all...not bad...I think FI is having a harder time than I am.

I'm looking forward to dinner tomorrow night...we picked up portobello mushrooms and large potatoes :)

I put curry in mine and I think I put too much, the first bowl I had was SOOO spicy, I added more water and now it just has a nice kick. Red pepper is a good idea too!

I ate a bunch of watermelon last night too, I fell asleep so early last night I didn't even have time to worry about being hungry.

Good call on the portabello mushrooms! I'm going to pick some up today to go with my potato. I like to soak mine in balsamic vinegar and then grill, but I wonder if we can have balsamic vinegar. It doesn't really say much about condiments.

I'm getting ready to heat up some soup for breakfast, I don't really know what else to eat, since today is all veggies. I can't wait for my potato tonight!

YAY! Go us! Day one is done and on to day 2!

I'm with y'all I can't wait for tonight's baked potato with butter! yummy

I had soup this morning. Already sick of it but I can already see my stomach flattening so I definitely plan on sticking this out!

Yari, to answer your question...I would say that overall it's easy but at times it is difficult because naturally you want something with more substance. Since I've already seen results that definitely keeps me motivated. Lost 1 pound yesterday but haven't gone to the gym to weigh myself today and may not be able to so I will come back with my weight loss tomorrow. I find it easier just knowing that girls on the forum are doing it too and it keeps me going. Also, my FI eating the soup at dinner with me helps a ton!

Ok ! I am in ! I will get all the stuff this afternoon. I just want to loose 10-12 pounds so that I can feel great in a bathing suit ! !

School is over, I've corrected all my grade 11 exams so now I can concentrate on myself.

I'll keep you all posted on how I am on this dietthewave.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
