I swear I'm not a snob! If you tried to contact me...

Recommended Posts

I discovered something really horrible a couple of weeks ago...my contact page on my website did not work for seven months. If you sent me a message - I did not receive it during that time period.

What stinks is that the people who submitted the contact form got a message that said that I had received their message. But I never got it - nor did they get a message letting them know that I didn't.

I switched web hosts last fall - and they screwed something up in the transfer. I noticed that my bookings slowed down - but I moved to a new state so that was expected. The contact inquiries that I receive from my blog look just like the ones that I receive from my website so I didn't notice.

I finally figured this out a few weeks ago. So...if you happened to contact me...I am sorry. Just wanted to let you know that I am not a snob. It totally stinks b/c I have a slow fall and winter b/c of their mix up.

But at least I caught it in time to not miss out on the 2009 bookings that are coming in.

wow, I'd be freaking out. Hope you are handling it better than I would have. Was there also an email address directly posted or just the contact field? If the email address was there, most people who were very interested would have followed up with an email when they didn't hear back. Some also likely phoned instead, although phoning always requires more effort so probably less would have done this

Good luck for the coming season.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
