There are two Azul Hotels being built. Azul Fives and Azul (View) Sensatori. All Azul properties are all ages. The Eldorado Resorts are adults only. Prices are a little less than Azul Beach. I have only seen only a few pics. When we toured Azul Beach we were shown a video of the new hotels. I can't believe we booked a hotel site unseen, but I think it will turn out really nice!

I think that it will be great! Everything will be new and gorgeous. You certainly did your research so I think you can rest assured. I think I might check it out because we have become so crazy that the only place that we are going to look at is Paradisus and possibly Barcelo Colonial. We keep "narrowing down" and have basically gotten rid of other options becuase we are picky.. (!)

It's great to be able to perform "site inspections" isn't it? I had the opposite experience while watching a wedding at Azul Beach two weeks ago. Approximatley a dozen hotel guests were completely rude during a couple's wedding. One bikini clad girl stood directly in front of the couple not 20 feet away taking pics of them. Meanwhile in the swim pool not far away, guests continued to loudly party. I felt terrible for them. Too bad you can't control what other guests are at the hotel during your wedding. I agree about the hotel itself though. I thought it was very tranquil.

I'm in the process of trying to decide between one of the new Azul's, Paradisus, and Moon Palace. I've been having a tough time getting quick responses from both Azul and Moon Palace. I'm a little nervouse about booking a wedding at a resort that isn't open yet but it seems like it would be really nice. I'm trying to get pricing for stuff now

Hi,

does anyone have a reliable way to get ahold of Azul Beach?! I have tried to contact them several times. I decided not to visit on my site visit because I felt if I couldn't get a hold of them now it didn't bode well for planning a wedding. Also, I want to have sol as a photographer and I understand that is difficult at Azul. Still, I am really regretting not seeing Azul Beach and I am worried that the two places I am choosing between: Esencia and Ana y Jose are going to be too expensive. I'm even considering going back to see Azul.

Also, can anyone comment on the reception site. Are there private areas for your guests to eat dinner and dance or will hotel guests be a part of your party . . . .

Thanks soooo much!

Sarah

Honestly I don't remember much about Azul Fives, but they are more like a condo's and have some permanent residences. (I think)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
