Hey BB5, my wedding coordinator is handling the flowers, so I'm not sure. I don't even know who they use yet. I'll let you know when I find out who they're using though. I hope you hear back from someone soon!

Maria, you can call Jessica at +1.808.283.7837 or email her at makeup@maui.net

I found it easier to email her, with the time difference and everything.

The prices Jessica Waite quoted me were $95 for the bride (which includes airbrush) and for bridesmaids, it's $75 for regular makeup application or $95 if they want airbrush.

With Dan Sanchez, it of course depends on what services you want to order, but updos are $95/person. I'm also having him do manicures & pedicures for everyone for $85/person.

Both Jessica and Dan charge a travel fee, depending on where you are. I think they're both charging $50 each to travel to Wailea, although it might be $75 for Jessica, I can't quite remember.

I can try to get her contact number if you're interested, but I have a feeling you might want to see her stuff.

The girl who's pics I saw was really just an acquaintance of mine so I don't really have access to them. Sorry, I thought I could be a better help!

My WC is Makena Weddings if that helps at all...

Just wanted to update this thread a bit. We just got back from Maui & I wanted to make sure that everyone knew about an awesome hair/makeup stylist that will travel around the island. Her name is Shelly & her website is www.mariahsmane.com & her email is shellyhoff@webtv.net. She did myself, 2 bridesmaids & my mom & did a fantastic job. She uses Mac Cosmetics for the most part & spends so much time making sure that you love it (she re-did my hair b/c I wasn't sure.) If you're looking for a stylist for your big day, please contact Shelly. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I am completely bummed becaues I was set on wanting Jessica Waite to do my makeup and was ready to book now for June (figuring I had PLENTY of time) unfortunately, I heard back from them and apparently they go to Ugand every year in June to do humanitarian work?? I am told they have other senior artists that are available for my date but I'm unsure since I haven't seen their work. Has anyone used one of her other artists?? I was really hoping to get airbrush makeup too but know that not everyone does this. Any recommendations?? Thanks for the help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
