This is where I'm getting married. At the bottom of the stairs that lead out from the lobby towards the hote. I'm going to walk down the stairs and my guests will be sitting in front of the fountain. You can't see the ocean from here, but, I loved this spot. If you click on the picture in my web site it makes it a little bigger. We are doing it at sunset so I hope this is the colors I get for the wedding! Thanks for asking :)
Very Pretty! Are you going to do an arch or cover up that door so people don't come walking out of ithuh.gif Just a thought. I think it is beautiful. And I still want your website, ha. I just told bill again since my invites are going to be those colors.....

Thanks! I made the collage in photoshop, it was so easy (okay, well I spent some time tweaking, but until that point it only took like half an hour or so!)

The starfish is some clipart, I just posted it in a post called "DW Background and clip art" (in the sub-forum with inviations and STDs)

I'm getting the thanks yous printed for free from vistaprint. You can order 50 free premium postcards. And according to other people, you can take advantage of the free offers over and over again! I'm having 50 done in french and 50 in english (bilingual families, some people more primarily french and others english). I was gonna do just normal photo cards, but the picture was small (on a 4x8 card the photo was only like 2x3), and you can't really write well on photo paper (smudges). So I thought this was better. I'm also going to send a 4x6 picture to all the aunts and uncles only (since I know many of them will want to frame a picture or something, well at least that's what my mom does). Although they were free, shipping to Canada was still pretty hefty (15$ for 50 postcards) so it ends up costing me the same amount as photocards, but I think these are better. And I shouldn't have any problems writing my personalized thank you message on the back.

Hey Beautiful Lady!!!!! So glad to see you here on the site. It's not like we talk enough everyday on the phone, thru text, in person and NOW on this forum. You can't hide from me! I love this sight. It is always so helpful.

I'm glad you thought to ask about the divorce part of the wedding. Maybe we should just do a symbolic wedding at the resort. Then you, Joe, Sean and myself could have a dual wedding at the courthouse. smile120.gif

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this site. We'll have to get together to finish up our STD's and brochure.

LOVE YOU

I know scary right...we can't seem to get away from eachother. I'm getting ancy about wanting to start my stuff. Maybe this weekend while Joe is away. I thought about the symbolic wedding as well. I was curious if we should get married at the court house first and then do the wedding down there, then we don't have to worry about so many legalities of things. We could also use it as our honeymoon and then not be down there 4 days prior....

I had to get the divorce paperwork done for the wedding and would be glad to share the info if it's still needed - just not sure if it has been answered or not.

I sent you an e-mail, but if you would like to post it on this site, that would work out just fine. Any information would be helpful. If we find out that there's not too much to it, I would be willing to go that route. Thank you for any help you might be able to give us.

I will be doing the ultimate wedding package. Half of my guests love beef, the other half want salmon. I'd prefer not to do buffet- does anyone know if you can have 2 options for the main course of the reception dinner? Thanks!

Great question! I'd be curious to find out if this is an option. I also have the ultimate wedding package and are expecting around 55 people.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
