I guess the one nice thing about my surgery is that I won't have to pay for it, since it is covered by our healthcare!!! Sweet! Maybe I can use the $ that I would pay if I was just getting a lift, and go on a nice relaxing holiday after the healing is done!!!

Once again, good luck with your surgery!!!!!
Thanks so much! I sure wish my insurance would cover mine!! It's a pretty penny lol.

Thanks so much for that PM. You really made me feel a lot better. I hope the pain is tolerable. I have a high tolerance BUT I have never been through this kind of thing before. Some girls tell me it hurts worse than childbirth EEEKK

I had my breast augmentation 1yr ago! I am soooo happy with my decision. I was really sore the first 2-3 days not sharp pain just really sore when I would do anything that moved my chest muscles (which ends up being a lot of things) But the doctor will give you pain meds. If you have any questions after your surgery. Send me a msg. Any time you have surgery its a little nerveracking but I think you'll look back on it and be sooo thankful you did it! Good Luck. Can't wait to hear about it.

I just got mine done 2 weeks ago. My wedding is on July 4th. The only thing I regret is doing before my bachlorette party which was this past weekend. I wasn't able to go swimming. As far as pain the first two days or so I was in pain but taking pain pills. I wasn't stuck in bed though. From what my doctor said I should be able to breastfeed if I do have another baby (I already have 2 kids). They do go back to normal afterwards. As far as size goes I am not sure what bra size I am now because I can't wear a normal bra for 6 weeks so I haven't gone shopping for new ones yet. But the doctor when I went for my consoltation did some measurements of me first and then suggested three different fills (they go by how much they fill them) and then I decided one one. I went with the middle fill he suggested because I didn't want to be too big, Well let me know if you have anymore questions.

Last night I was really sore. I don't remember much though. I don't even remember getting home and going to bed. I guess my Mom and little bro came over and talked with me but I don't remember. I was throwing up everytime I tried to eat anything, but I had breakfast this morning and it's all good now. I haven't seen them yet because they are under all the surgical tape. THEY LOOK HUGE though. But everyone is telling me it's the swelling and wrapping. I can acutally sit up on my own now and my FI is being the best guy ever. He made up a chart to chart when to give me pills lol.

How do they look? Is the scarring fading? I can't wait to see mine. I can't see them until Thursday. I am still loopy from all the pills I am on right now lol. My poor Fi.

Anyway I hope to be up and going by Friday!!!
Thans for all the stories and encouragement

That sucks you can't see your boobies! I'd be dying!

Did you have to spend the night at the hospital? Or didthe surgery take place in the dr's office? I hope when you finally get to see them they are exactly what you wanted. Congrats on the new addition!

I have a boob job and I have twins also. You can breastfeed when you have your boob job. I do recommend that instead of saline do silicone. I have mine saline and I will be changing to silicone just because silicone last longer and you wont have to deal with ridges..Remember a boob job will always need to be redone in about 15 years...so those will run you a bit more expensive that your first one...

Yeh I too have thought about getting a boob job myself. I have had 2 consultations and all though Im down with having babies, they did tell me that you will not be able to breast feed. If having that bond with a baby you may have in the near furture, honestly I would hold off a while. Im sure you've heard mixed feeelings and have some of your own. YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT MAKES "YOU" HAPPY!!! I wish my FH would say he would buy them for me but he say's no, all though he wants me to have them more than I do...Well Good Luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
