My OOT bag stuff came from OTC last night! Woot! I had everything spread all over the floor to show Jayson.. heh. Now it's in a big box in our livingroom until I can figure out where to put it.. plus I still have a few more things to buy for OOT bags so I want to add to the box. But I'm sooo relieved to have this stuff.. I feel pro-active.. ha!

That's good you got your order. I have a bunch of stuff from OTC, i was surprised with the quality. it was a lot nicer than i though it would be since it's so inexpensive. Cant beat the deals. i have to laugh about the stuff being all over your living room. i have a whole spare room dedicated to wedding stuff.

I second the need for a spare room. We are very cramped in our little place until the land my FI is supposed to get from his dad is finalized and we can build. There is barely enough room to fart here, let alone have extra stuff like scrapbooking and wedding stuff. Yet I manage to squeeze it in here and there somehow, and the rest goes to my Mom's.

I know! I have the space behind my bedroom door as the designated wedding area. I have 1 under the bed storage container, one huge tub and the small roll-on luggage piece full fo wedding stuff. I can't wait to hand it off to everyone else to bring down for me!

Congrats on getting your OTC stuff!! That is fun but ummmm where are the pics? HMMhuh.gif HAHA!! The closet in our spare bedroom/closet will be bare when the wedding is over, ha!! But that is just fine with me. Dropped the shoes off today to be dyed a light blue, just printed my RSVP cards to be cut and put together, and have my parent cake knife in my car to drop off to have our names and wedding date engraved on the opposite side that my parents info is. Moving along, little by little. Off tomorrow for another injection and I started a cold yesterday, yipee!!

Oh, that's right Steph - you go in again tomorrow. Tell the anesthesiologist to get it right this time! Your shoes are going to be light blue?? I LOVE IT!! Can't wait to see them!

My God girl, you are on it! I haven't ordered invites yet because I haven't found a location for our AHR. After much consideration I don't want all those people in my home - too much work. My friend here just told me he could get me an almost free rate at the Elks Lodge - which is fine with me! I just want an AHR to include our many friends, family and co-workers who can't make it and I don't want to wait till summer. By December 1st I want to be done with wedding stuff. We'll see what happens cause FI and I looked at an Elks lodge before and he hated the musty smell. I'll keep you all posted!

Me too! I finally started to put stuff in one of our carryon bags so I wouldn't have to look at it anymore on the living room floor. I hate clutter to being with so all the wedding stuff is really making me crazy. I will really be happy to get the invites in the mail to get those off my kitchen table that we can't eat on. Ha ha! I still owe you all pics of the final invites and will get to those soon.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
