Hey Girls!
Do any of you know of anyone else on here who has had pictures taken by the photographer at the Moon Palace? I LOVE Betsy's pics, but I would like to see more.
Maybe I'll do a search....

By the way, are your grooms wearing suits? I think mine wants to wear a short sleeve button down collared shirt with linen pants. Just thought I would see what everyone else is doing for some ideas. Thanks.

TGIF!!!

My groom will be wearing a kilt! cheesy.gif everyone keeps mentioning the heat factor, because kilts, although airy, are heavy..but he is adamant he is wearing it!!

I gave my FI the idea of wearing a suit and he was against it! LOL!

He wants he and his BM in collared shirts and linen pants.

My bridesmaids are wearing green and white strapless dresses from David's:

David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail

I chose this dress for myself: David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns A9177 Charmeuse halter gown with cinched empire waist and beaded detail.

The alternate view really shows you what the dress looks like.

I'm happy it got good reviews! I think it looks better ON though! : ) .

My FI will be wearing a linen suit from Macys with a white linen shirt. Below are the pics of the jacket and pants, and the shirt, but instead of the blue, its white. He is wearing tan sandals.

Groomsmen are wearing this shirt (with light blue instead of tan) with tan slacks and brown flip flops or sandals (i let them pick their own pants and shoes, not sure if that was a smart thing to do). Everything for the FI and the GMs is Cubavera, I just love their stuff.

Bridesmaids are wearing this dress from David's Bridal. This is also the color.

You're a member of the site, but to get to the 'Member' level (so it says Member next to your picture), you need to have 100 posts.

Just wanted to add, the picture was taken right after we got back from Aventura Palace last year, so I was all tan, no longer.

Thank you Dez, you're so sweet. I think I'm building an aversion to my dress. When I first bought it, I was totally into the whole princess thing, as was my mom. She made me buy gloves and a tiara to go with it. As it gets closer to the wedding, I'm trying to figure out how to ditch the gloves (above the elbow white gloves in 300 degree Mexico heat in July) and the tiara, without hurting my mom's feelings. She's totally into it, and she bought the tiara and it was really really expensive. So everytime I see the dress it reminds me of how I'm going to be hot and weirdly overdressed on the beach in Mexico.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
