I'm about a year older. And my mom is 2 years older than my dad, which back in the day was a tad scandalous - too funny!!!

Seriously though...there are quite a few of us who are older than our DHs/FIs. Very cool.

I'm exactly 6 years older than my fiance (which I think might be the biggest difference posted here)wink.gif. His bday is exactly a week before mine. I say the same thing about women living longer- since I never want to live without him and men usually don't live as long, I figure I have a better chance of us going at the same time. lol It never even comes up now, but I was a little nervous to meet his family when I was 27 and he was 21... Of course, turns out they LOVE me!jiggy.gif

My FI is the first guy that I ever dated that was younger than me as well. Most of them were the same age as me, except the last guy before my FI. He was 7 years older than me, now if that doesn't make the younger guy seem even younger....10 years difference between one bf to the next!!! LOL. RRRRRoooaaarrrr!!!

Oh wait...I did have a bf in junior high that was a week younger!! hehehe

This is kind of crazy, i would have totally thought it would be the other way in terms of age. I am four months older than my FI, but was a whole grade ahead of him in high school. It was difficult back then, no big deal anymore, other than the fact that for four months a year, I'm a year older than he is and he teases me about it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
