Thank you Maura! It was really fast! No pics, they didn't allow any in the Chapel (small room in the courthouse with an arch lined w/ fake flowers). My cousin and Hanssel's uncle were our witnesses. We exchanged rings, but I gave we put them back in the box right after we left the courthouse. We celebrated with breakfast at Denny's and now, I am back at work, haha!

It was cute though. Hans has the day off so he is planning a nice dinner for us tonight :)

LOL i have to tell jose you ate at denny's on your legal wedding day. he is going to be sooooo jealous! hahaha if we had a dennys nearby he would BEG me to go there on our wedding day!

Abbie, I just got off the phone with my alterations lady about the dress I was going to lend you... she said no way can she alter it in under 2 weeks if I lent it to you and you send it back when you return from Cabo, that the original plan to alter it in June needs to stand if I want my dress altered at all. I tried it on again and it needs to be taken in significantly in several places since I've lost weight as well as the hem needs to be taken up, and when i told her about how much extra material there was to be altered, she said to also take into consideration that I will be wearing a corset bra underneath, so that will add another inch or so of fabric that needs to be taken in. I also wanted the sash removed because it makes me look too short because it conceals my waist, and she said if she removed it theres no putting it back on because its in two pieces.

 

sad.gif sorry girl i was really hoping to be able to share my dress with you, but my alterations lady said she just cant do it any later than the second week of june, and i wont be able to pick it up until july 5 sad.gif

haha! It's funny how we live in bubble, I thought everyone had a denny's!

Well, Hans took me to Boa in Santa Monica, it was good, but too pricey. We will def not be returning. But no pics, again. I really need to get a camera!

haha! Yes! Hans won't let me get a camera till we get closer to the wedding! He really pisses me off! I've tried to explain to him that I am not posting enough on the forum and need to show off EVERYTHING wedding related on the board! The cell phone pics are just not cutting it, haha!

Yes. I think I'm just going to go and get one on my own w/out his approval!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
