Have you had any problems getting a hold of Jazmin? I saw she sent you the flower listing. I've emailed her but she still hasn't responded to ANY of my emails. So far only my TA has been able to get a hold of her.

I'm getting married October 23, 2008...

Does anyone have pics of the private poolside reception on the Tulum side? I saw they were posted in the first few pages of this thread but I can't view them, they have X's in the boxes. The only pics of pool receptions I've been able to find are Akumal ones....

Gran Bahia is a beautiful place for a wedding! You will love it! At the Akumal section, there are beach side huppas and at the Tulum section there is a gazebo. Below are a few slideshows from recent weddings I shot there to give you a better feeling for the resort.

Christine + Corey

Bini + Ryan

I hope this helps! Susan

They can do more than one wedding per day. We had originally requested Thursday April 3rd, and she said we could but there was already another wedding that day. This meant that we had 2nd pick to the time of the ceremony, the restaurant and the cocktail reception location as the other couple were the 1st to book. So instead we decided to get married on the Friday and have the 1st choice to everything.

Morgan, are you doing the private dinner?

AHH, This just dawned on me... Drai, you got married on the day I was SUPPOSED to get married! HA! I wanted the 4pm time slot (4-4 at 4... I'm weird) but it was already taken so then I switched it a week to save our guests money. Wow. That's nuts! We were ALMOST date twins at the same resort just different sections!

Trisha - Your pictures are sooo gorgeous!! I think you've made my mind up on picking a resort. smile159.gif

One question - did you have to bring any of the decorations for your wedding site? It looks so pretty with the turquoise fabric - did the wedding planner actually have all that for you?

Sorry about that... I posted them before but I must have changed the links. I fixed them now so you should be able to see them :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
