Well, it sucks. Just got back from my softball game and my first up to bat I took off running and pulled my left quadriceps (I think I actually aggravated it last night in my Biggest Loser ultimate sculpt workout) So, that sucked. Then I go to catch a fly ball in the outfield last night and instead of catching it with my glove it hits my forearm so it looks like a softball burned an imprint on my forearm..ha It's going to be ugly tomorrow. Thank god I have some serious time after softball season to recuperate all my bruises. Plus, I know I won't feel like exercising with my leg very seriously for awhile. So it sucks!! I guess I'll just have to walk.

Oh Amy! I'm so sorry! I hate sports injuries - they throw such a kink in our workout plans!

I know I've posted about 18 million times today and I promise I'll lay off tomorrow....but I just have to say that I did not follow any of my own tips tonight and I find it hilarious that I just posted them this afternoon.

I went to my Pilates Jump class and had to stop halfway through because I was dizzy and thought I was going to throw up. (Seriously. This is THE. TOUGHEST. WORKOUT. EVER.)

I got home and my body was seriously craving water and carbs/sugar. I drank a ton of water and inhaled tortilla chips and salsa. Then I had 4 of those Amy's Pizza Snacks things with a - gasp! - diet COKE! WTH? I don't know what just happened to me! I think my body was in emergency mode and there was no stopping it! None of this - take a break, drink some water and see if you're still hungy in 10 minutes crap! I was just inhaling!

The good news is I'm not dizzy anymore. I'm not sure what happened. I always try to eat extra carbs for lunch on the days when I have that class because I know I'll need them. But I've been home for 1.5 hours and my clothes are still sopping wet with sweat. Blech.

Off to a hot shower...

I sure hope this doesn't affect my weigh-in tomorrow! undecided.gif

Its a set of extreme workout dvds, they have infomercials on tv on sunday mornings, lol! DH & I started doing it a few weeks ago and it is a great workout, but I think I need more cardio right now to get the pounds off, so I'll still do some of the workouts like kenpo and plyometrics and probably the arms workout, but I think I'll skip the others and just do the treadmill.

This morning I had a skinny vanilla latte and a reduced fat breakfast sandwich without the bacon from Starbucks.

I am heading to the gym in one hour. I am also meeting my trainer.

Tonight I am hosting a dinner party for my girlfriends and it's Mexican night. Ugh...margies and enchiladas.
Be good tonight yari, don't forget we weigh in tomorrow!

It's actually my breakfast and it's only 90 calories. I drink that and then I drink a TON of water between breakfast and lunch. (I don't subscribe to the 'eat breakfast to get your metabolism running' philosophy. I tried and it doesn't work for me. I just end up eating more throughout the day.)

For those of you who are having a rough time - TODAY IS A NEW DAY!!! You can always scratch the old and start anew! cheer2.gif Let's do this!
I'll have to look for that because I don't know what's wrong with me!

Oh, I forgot to mention too, that today I put on a pair of linen capris I had bought last summer, I couldn't even button them when I bought them and just shoved them in a drawer. Well I put them on today and they fit!! They're still a little snug in the waist, but not horrible. I was so excited, especially since I've been feeling crappy because the scale isn't moving!

I'm having the worst week ever! I was up 8 pounds from my starting weight on Monday! I have no idea why or how I could gain that much in 5 days!

I did drink rather heavily this weekend and ate a lot of salt so I'm hoping that is all it is. I had my shower and lots of sweets and no exercise.

I'm guessing it is stress related but it is hard to relax when you're a COW! I have about 4 1/2 weeks to lose 20 lbs! LOL Looks likes the Chicken, Lettuce, Oatmeal diet for me!

That is so good to hear. Even though the scale hasn't moved it still shows some progress!!!

Keep up the good work!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
