Gran Bahia Principe Roll Call

Recommended Posts

Hi there, my WC was also Jazmin. You cannot reply to her address because her e-mails are sent on behalf of another address. I hope that makes sense. I thought she was really good, she never took more than 2 days to reply to any of my questions, unless I happened to send it on one of her day off. The correct address is groupsmx1@bahia-principe.com

I second this! Replying does not work... always copy and paste that address and then it'll work. I really liked Jazmin - when you meet her, you find out she's kind of a no nonsense kinda gal.

I think I've been emailing Jazmin - as no one has responded, I'm not sure who it's going to. I've emailed grupostulum@tulum.bahia-principe.com on the 19th, pflores@tulum.bahia-principe.com on the 22nd and then groupsmx1@bahia-principe.com on the 23rd.

I've been checking my Spam folder every few days just in case but still nothing. sad.gif I talked to our TA on Saturday so hopefully she can get an answer!

YEAH!!! So based on the advice from this board (I love BDW!) I talked to my TA and she tried contacting them. My TA just emailed this morning and she got a resonse and our date is available!!!

So now we're just waiting to see if Air Canada will match Sunwing's prices (fingers, toes and everything else crossed for good luck!!!!) and then we'll be putting down our deposits!

Yep! They did. We're so happy they did, the flight times with Sunwing were just horrible so I would have hate to gone with them. Plus, if we went with any other tour op, the flights were Sun to Sun and I really wanted Sat to Sat.

I *think* all our guests are coming from Vancouver. I have family on the island but it works out better for them to take the ferry over then to get a connecting flight. FH's brother and sister both live in Alberta and while we really hope they come, we don't think they'll be able to. However, if they do, then Air Canada will give us connecting flights for $50. Since our flight leaves YVR in the morning, they would fly from AB to YVR the night before. When we fly home we get in late so their connecting flight back to AB would be the next morning. This way they get to fly with the group and it's cheaper. To add the connecting flight it's only like an extra $50 (roundtrip!) and because we have a good group rate, it works out to be cheaper then if they had booked their own packages through iTravel2000, etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
