I'm still deciding on which ones to buy. Being the shoe freak that I am, I'll end up buying all of them just in case I change my mind.
That way I'll have options. I've always had a thing with wearing red shoes with my wedding dress. I don't know why.
I love the first ones, I saw them online and wanted to try them on, but didn't find them in the store. Those are so sexy.

Here are my reception shoes that I just ordered from Shoes.com for $50 bucks!!

I love them because they are summery but not too bridal that I couldn't wear again. So excited about this purchase because I have looked at thousands of pairs of shoes over the past couple of months!

These are my ceremony shoes from Victoria Secret (I'm not crazy over them because they actually have some pink glitter on them that I think is sort of cheesy, so I'm still on the hunt)

What do you think? Would my feet get too hot?? Be honest!

(They're actually more of a lilac color. Oh and pardon the black fishnets!)
I love these! In my opinion, I think you'll be fine, but then keep in mind that I'm wearing these (also patent leather):

I figure my feet might get hot, but oh well, I'm going to be having too much fun to care, and I want to be wearing shoes that I love this much on my wedding day! I'm not sure that helps you at all, but it might help to know that you're not the only one wearing patent leather at a sunny DW!

My wedding shoes have a great story...

I found them last October at Ann Taylor but didn't want to spend more than $80 on a pair of shoes because I went over budget on my dress. Well I watched them online and the day after Christmas they were on sale for $69.99, so I said DONE, I'll get them. Well my birthday is 3 days after Christmas and my mom and I always go shopping... So we stopped by Ann Taylor and the shoes were there and they had ONE pair left...and they were MY size! So I was totally excited, then I got to the register and she rings me out.........$39.99! They were on clearance! YIPPY........it was a birthday miracle!

this is only image of them I could find online....

I got them in chocolate....I got the sueded ones for me, and I got the regular Alice ones for my girls. I gotta say I have the same ones in black and I wear them to shoot weddings and they are SOOOOO comfortable. They are the best shoe if you're going to be on your feet for 14 hours.....smile36.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
