I'm so excited for you and Lizz! I can't believe that after all these months, the time is finally here. I definitely remember flipping a little bit 2 weeks before I left, but try to relax. Take a deep breath, and honestly, if you didn't get something done, don't sweat it! Your guests will be blown away by what you've done, and they'll never miss what you forgot. Get excited! You've done enough planning to not be nervous :)

Ummm, coming from the chillest bride ever? I don't think there was one thing you were worried about! But I am hoping that is what happens, that once its happening, I can go with the flow and relax. It's only when I realize that the time is runing out and I kinda freak. I think alot of it has to do wtih work though. There is so much I need to do here before I can leave!

I can't wait to have NOTHING to do. I know I will quickly miss having something crafty to do, or shopping to be done, but I think I will really nejoy the few weeks right after the wedding.

I said to Mike the other day that I am so looking forward to our honeymoon when I can sit and relax and not have 1 thing to stress over.

Carly, how long are you staying down there? Are you staying at Beaches the whole time?

Whew, at first I thought you were going to say you got in a car accident.

Cherish this feeling right now, cuz you will never feel it again! This is so exciting girly!! And it's the time where you can kindof start to let go of things & let your grand master plan swing into action. Sit back & watch all of your hard work come to fruition.

I'm giddy for you!!!

I kind of feel that way now. I have the majority of everything set and I am so done with thinking about wedding stuff. I can't wait until our day comes.

Carly I feel that way all the time, except I feel like I'm not prepared! I've ordered lots of stuff that I'm still waiting for. My dress isn't in, I still need shoes, etc.

I feel like the major things have been taken care of, but I also feel like I am forgetting something huge, like a wedding ring or something! LOL

If it's this bad now, I can't imagine what I will be like when the ticker is down to days! I can't sleep as it is!

I don't know if that makes you feel better, but at least you aren't alone!

I only became the chillest bride because I seriously got to a point where I was not caring about a single thing. I was just so over it. haha probably cause I started planning the wedding a year before. That's a long time to be consumed with nothing but "wedding!"

Anyways, when you come home you won't know what to do with yourself. I kept trying to remember what I was forgetting to do because it just felt like I should be planning something. THen I remembered that I was married. Now I just enjoy my role on the forum as "advice/joke" giver. haha it's fun to be part of the married crowd.

We will be there from the 14th to the 23rd and we decided to stay at Beaches the whole time. I am lazy and didn't want to have to pack up all my shilz and move to another place and learn everything all over again. What days will you be there? We should go shopping or something together while we are there! AFTER the weddings of course, so we can be calm about it.

Christa - giddy is the perfect word! Cuz it's happy, but almost hysterically happy. That is how I feel.

Sadly, it actually does make me feel better. Nice to know you aren't alone when you are freaking out. Let us know if you need a super-slueth to step in and locate somethings for you. Having this wedding has turned me into an absolute internet shopping whore. I buy everything. At least 1 thing a day! Hhahahahaaa, mostly cheap stuff, but still!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
