we are doing the legal thing here first on july 12 because my FI is not an american citizen, so it will make our paperwork easier later to be legally married in the US.

then our DW is aug 9th in cabo, and that is our religious ceremony with all our guests and everything!

hahahahaha actually.... i work between 50-60 hours a week between january and june. youll notice on days where im just too busy, i disappear for several days at a time. but mostly, i balance things really well because i am used to doing a lot because i have a high stress job that requires a lot of attention to detail and multiple projects at once. so most of the things ive done so far, has been all online ordering during my lunch hour, or late at night when i get home. my FI is always ragging on me for spending too much time on the computer -- like right now haha. but he gets to just sit back and relax and do nothing but pay for our travel and show up. thank god for bdw, because ive gotten so many ideas here!

in the fall, i was also teaching college classes but i had to take a semester off because i just dont have the extra time to dedicate to my students right now.

i also do a lot of my stuff on early weekend mornings, because my FI sleeps in until around 11, but i inevitably wake up around 7:30. i am very very good at multitasking. i dont think id ever want to plan someone else's wedding, but i like doing some of the DIY project, especially things with paper goods.

Maura, your invites are beautiful! Don't you love getting free stuff of of other sites? the White Aisle posted a list of fonts along with their names, and I went font-stalking trying to find as many as possible. Too bad they gave away their little secrets and now us DIY brides can make our own beautiful invites!

Thanks Amy! That means a lot coming from you, the queen of the DIY invite! haha. I did the same thing and did font-stalking. I only wish I had had the time to print my own actual invitations for the DW. That is my one and only regret from all the planning I've done. I know I could've done a great job, I just didn't have the time to do all the searching for supplies, printing them which I know would've taken me forever because I'm a perfectionist. I think I could've done a better job than White Aisle did even though I like my invites a lot.

To be honest. I wish I could have afforded to have them printed elsewhere. I wasn't too excited about the printing. Anyhow, your invites are beautiful, and no I am not the queen, Sarah still holds the crown!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
