Hey Heidi,

 

That is a beautiful place for your TTD shoot.

Did you guys go for a sunrise shoot or just during the day?

 

I think I am going to let Robin know that is where I want to have our TTD shoot. How far is this from the resort?

 

Thanks for the idea. I hate to steal it but it is lovely!!

We left the resort at 3pm - were there for an hour. Was a perfect time to go - we only saw one other group of people, and - let's face it - privacy is important during a TTD! haha!

It's about a 20-minute drive (just so long because you have to drive up a VERY narrow street to get to the top of a mountain!) Sunset at the resort happens in the back - so TTD 'sunset pics' on the beach aren't really an option. You get really neat sky color - but not the sunset! Sunrise if RIGHT over the beach - that'd be a good idea if you're going to split the TTD (we did)

We did our TTD right on the beach- with quite an audience which i was a little annoyed by b/c we didn't get the sexy pics that I wanted. Both moms and several other guests insisted on watching... But even though i bought a cheap dress to trash i ended up using my real dress and it was fine. My dress had tons of beading and lace and i soaked in the bathtub that night and then hung it to dry. I only saw one bead hanging off and that could of been from anything during the day. Once it dried you couldn't even tell it had gotten wet. The fabric felt a little sandy still but the drycleaners assured me today that it would be fine after they cleaned it.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
