Last night we went to the Mexico vs. China soccer game at Qwest Field here in Seattle for Mexico's world tour. It was sooo much fun, the energy was astounding. I've never seen so many Mexican flags in one place! There were over 56,000 people in attendance, it was just crazy! Mexico won 1-0, to the excitement of about 95% of the crowd, us included! Here are some fun pics for ya :)

ya, we got a handful of 'em wink.gif i can say this because i'm 1/4 mexican (no joke, i'm serious) but we got a lotta mexicans around us. we live in west seattle, but just south of us is burien, where the kids go to school cause their mom lives there, and their school is about 85% mexican. the kids even pick up a bit of spanish at school, it's pretty cool. i knew it was a pretty big population in our area, but last night proved it! it was an awesome turnout. what a great experience for "my people"! hehe wink.gif

well, there is usually seattle sounders soccer, but altho they have a small but excitable following, it's just not at all what soccer was meant to be.

next year we do get a real and true MLS team, to be named Seattle Sounders FC. season tickets are on sale now, we're getting them.

trevor's coach actually just stepped down from the sounders, he is coaching 3 teams and didn't have the time or $ to play for them anymore. he is really good tho, and the kids love him.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
