That's right! How did it go?!

As far as the hair, I think it depends on the complexity of the style as well.
My sister haad a style that was $45.
I think you also get a discount.

Just read on the dreams site that the reason for the delays in the WC's getting back to everyone is that they currently have 2 weddings per day and thousands of emails and asking everyone to be patient. So if anyone is waiting for info thats probably why.

I thought they only did one a day but there ya go lol wrong again! drum.gif

I think it really depends on the sizes of the weddings and the time of year.

I was married in October and since thats a quieter time of year, I only saw one wedding each day, but I know this is a really busy time for them.

I was at Dreams Cancun this weekend for my site visit. Me and my FI were there last year for a week. I love the hotel. Claudia is such a sweet girl and Daniella too. They had a weddding on Friday for one of the girls in the forum, her name is Candice. Her wedding was so beautiful! They also had another wedding on Saturday.

October is suposed to be low season, although I booked early December 2007. they have another wedding the same day as mine, but they only having the ceremony. Their ceremony is at 4:00PM and my is at 5pm.

Yes, you get a 15% discount at the spa. I had a meeting with Claudia Rodriguez, the photographer, I booked her for my wedding. She is a very nice lady.

Girls, it was extremely windy at the gazebo area. Candice, the girl getting married, had to take off the veil when she was walking down the aisle. They planned to do the reception by the garden and ended up at the lobby tower terrace because it was very windy.

I am bringing my own cake and they are decorating it. I am originally from Dominican Republic and we want Dominican cake. We heard their cake is not that great.

I am very excited now that I went there and did the contract.

Okay,so as many of you know, my mom gets all this weird random wedding stuff from her work. Well, yesterday she brought me over a bubble machine! It's small and runs on batteries and I was thinking that since it's windy by the gazebo and throwing silk flowers after the ceremony would just result in a lot of litter in the water... maybe this would be a better option. I haven't played with bubbles in years so am not sure if they would just pop right away with the wind or if they would float around and look pretty. What do you all think?

Just wondering how you were bringing your cake in from the U.S. Will there be any issues with customs? Its a a really good idea... I would love to do this if it is allowed.

After the contract, they sent me the payment options and I elected to pay by credit card. I made all the copies, scanned them in, and then emailed to Claudia. She confirmed she received them and sent them to the processing department (forgot what she called it). It's been a month and they still haven't charged my credit card. I sent her an email about 2 weeks ago asking when it would be processed and if there were any problems, but no response. I'm sure they will eventually get around to it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
