If you could get a photographer that is already located in Mexico, it would help with the cost i think...I will check with these as well!
Thanks again!

that's not necessarily true. Keep in mind some packages might not include an album, so if you want an album too, that could be another $1500-$2000+. Which would end up being about the same as travel expenses to fly someone in. So, you could fly someone in if you really wanted. You just have to weigh what's in the packages and what you really want.

I'm sorry Jonathan, I guess I should have explained that better. For the prices of the photographers I am looking at it is less expensive. But if you were going with a more high end photographer, then it may be less expensive to fly someone in, if as you said there package included an album as well.

I'm sorry, I have a very small photography budget and I was just referring to the smaller packages that I was looking at.

I just forwarded that question to my TA....We are waiting on a response from Dreams! I will be sure to post their answer!

I'm definitly not an expert on Dreams packages but....I want to say that if you go with a package it is what it is, there isnt much room for swaping out certain things and adding other things. (I could be wrong though). I have heard of a Dreams bride that instead of purchasing a package (I want to say it was Tammy host) sort of built their own from scratch.

Yeah! That's what I was trying to say!
thanks girls!

Dreams sent me an "ala carte" price list for wedding services. It includes everything from the ceremony to photos and most everything else.

If anyone wants a copy of it let me know. I would attach it here but I am not sure how to upload a document.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
