Sick for my Birthday :(

So I had the crappiest birthday yesterday. I layed on my friends couch for the afternoon (Mat was at work & I didn't feel like sitting at home alone), then I took a nap when I got home, and then we spent 3 hours at the walk in clinic!!! $150 on prescriptions & a shitty night of sleep & I feel even worse today!!!

I have a sinus infection which is trying to get into my chest, as well as a sore throat & blocked ears. I've also coughed so hard that I strained my back!! I'm on antibiotics, nasal spray, painkiller/antinflammatory & magic cough syrup that makes me sleep & makes my back pain go away.

To add to it all I was up for a few hours with really bad heart burn (probably from the combo of meds!)

Blah. I feel so gross & am really bummed I didn't get to do anything nice yesterday! Mat was going to take me out for dinner & I was going to get to wear my new dress & heels & get all prettied up... I don't even think I took a shower! lol

Well I'll stop b*tching now. Just had to get that out.

That sucks. Being sick sucks no matter when it is. Thankfully, you can celebrate another day when you feel better. I rarely celebrate my birthday on my birthday- even though I rarely celebrate it anyways. lol

Here's a plus- at least it wasn't your wedding day! That's what happened to me. I think the germies wouldn't be that cruel to make you sick on your birthday AND wedding day. So at least you got that big sickness out of the way. :)

Booo!!! I just spoke with a nurse on the Ontario Teleheath phone number & we've determined that my antibioltics and cough syrup which were prescribed for my sinus and chest infection are making me sick!!! Like nauseous and vomiting & dizzy & all those lovely things!!!! So now I have to go back to the doctor again tomorrow, but for now there's nothing I can take to make my tummy feel better. She suggested trying to sleep, but I can't sleep cause everytime I lay down it flips & flops & is just not pretty! Mat's at work & everyone I know is sleeping so hopefully there's someone online here that can keep me company for now!! sick.gifsick.gifsick.gifsick.gif

I promise you can't get it from me over the internet! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
