Worst gift ever..

my 6th grade boyfriend [the kind that you dont talk to becuase they have germs] gave me a $.25 ring as a valentine's day present [the kind that you get at the supermarket, next to the superman sticker] and then procceded to dump me... awesome, i know!

I had to think about this one, b/c nothing stood out in my memory ... UNTIL I REMEMBEREDDDDDDD! Someone I used to date got me not one, but TWO leather coats for xmas one year. I normally look at gifts as its the thought that counts but this was rediculous. They were first of all 3 times too big. I wear a small or medium, ummm, yeah these coats were XXL... no I'm not kidding. On top of being huge size-wise, they were huge like, poofy huge. Stuffed with pillows or something. They weren't my style at alllll and were just terrible. He said he thought he'd get them big since I'd be wearing stuff underneath, blahahahahah WHAT!? ha lol too funny.

I am seriously terrified of birds, not kidding would go running screaming into traffic if one ever comes near me, so my worst gift was the bird feeder and 20 pound bag of bird seed my brother and sil gave me for my birthday. Wtf am I suppose to do with that invite the little birdies into my back yard for the joy of being freaked out daily, the other thing is I had 2 cats that were master hunters, what a great idea bringing their prey to them. My brother knew how scared I was of birds, so I have no idea what the intention was for the gift. It went into the basement to never see the light of day til I moved and then it saw the garbage.

This thread is funny. I want to comment on so many of the gifts, but it would take too long!

Nothing really stands out to me right now as THE worst gift ever, but my exx used to give me lots of crappy stuff. He was from NY so he would go up there alot of time w/o me. This one time for Christmas, he brought back a whole crapload of jewelry for me, swearing it was all real. It was 2 bracelets and a ring I think - well let me tell you, my skin turned so green!!! He bought them of a street vendor - dumbass. Sure they were real.

sex dice and vitamins to help my nails and hair grow :S ....my FI was investing in some pharmaceutical company that created the vitamins so he thought he'd order some and use me as the guinea pig then he gave them to me for my birthday along with the sex dice. (lucky for him he also took me out for dinner and bought me the most beautiful shoes..otherwise he'd have been in big trouble)

Some of these are too funny! My worst gift was from this guy I used to date. He gave me a Cubs jersey which at first I was like OK cool, I'm a Cubs fan. But then I turned it around and it had a name on the back of it, but it wasn't one I recognized from the team. Turns out it was his ex-girlfriend's last name. He had bought it for her, but never gave it to her and thought I wouldn't notice. Needless to say that was the end of that relationship. What a moron!
