Ocean sounds white noise CD ~ Finally getting some sleep!

I've been having issues with loud neighbors since September. Before that, I also had sleep issues, because Mike gets up several hours before me. When he showers it keeps me awake. The other sleep problem I had was trying to nap in the living room & still being able to hear him in the bedroom. I'm a light sleeper & we live in a small, poorly soundproofed apartment.

I tried a white noise CD, but the squaking birds bothered me. I'm pretty picky about my Ocean sounds. I finally found this one. I only like 3 tracks off the CD, but I just looped them. I also picked the option to have no gap between tracks.

I am sleeping great now. Here is a link to the mp3s if you need some piece & quiet too.

I saw your post in the savings about this cd, hadn't got around to replying.. glad you have sorted out the noise situation, nothing worse and ear plugs are just plain uncomfortable. Maybe when they are sleeping play it really loud, in fact find some music with loads of running water and they might pee themselves in their sleep

I've mentioned it in so many posts. Really, it has restored my sainity. I was losing my mine last Fall. So I can't stop spreading the word.

I've tried to get them back in a similar way. I put my radio on an annoying station & held it up to the ceiling like john cusack in "say anything." I've also called the cops on them. Now that I have the ocean in my bedroom, I'm fine with all their noise. rockon.gif

I love that too! The cabin we were staying in when we got engaged had a babbling brook behind it. It was so great to sleep with the windows open & listen to it. Now every night is like a night at an ocean front resort :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
