I am curious about the Mario ones too - because I have heard a couple that sound good, but they're all running together! So the "carnival games" one is Mario Party? And then there are other Mario ones I assume? Do they have one that's like the "old school" Mario where he jumps on mushrooms and stuff? Funny how we get this great technology and I want all of the old school games.

Side note: Centipede is my favoriate game of all time!

In Mario Galaxies he runs around jumps over things and collects items like old school, but you are on planets, so you are going around the sphere where sometimes you will be running and end up upside down!

That was hard to get used to.

You can hold the remote vertically, make a little twirl with it and Mario will jump and twirl which is cool.

You can also point at the screen with the remote to collect items.

This is a good one.

I have not read through this thread, I just wanted to post my opinion, the only game we have bought so far is Sims Castaway because I love the Sims, but we rent games frist before we by them to make sure we like them. Wii Party is the one that has Ski ball and its a lot of fun, it also has darts and basketball (hoop shot), shuffle board, air hockey, etc.. and we love that and might buy it. I am dying to try the CSI game because I love CSI, but I have not seen it to rent yet.

We have guitar hero for x-box 360, so I don't know what its like on Wii, but its awesome on the 360.

Actually there is a separate carnival game called "Carnival Games" (go figure). And then there's Mario Party which is a board game based that has a carnival theme.

For those still looking for a Wii, I found mine and couple of friends off of iTrackr. Signing up is free and you can track your local stores inventory. I know that some stores hold their stock until Sunday morning when the circulars start.

I also thought Big Brain Academy is kinda fun too. I have Mario Galaxy which I literally played once, but it makes me motion sick. I love all the traditional Mario games and it aches me that I can't play the new one. If anyone is interested in it, PM me, I've been meaning to sell it on ebay and never got around to it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
