I have heard it only comes in Red. I saw a thing on David's Bridal site though where you can get a customized white aisle runner for like 70 bucks they look really nice.

2nd i did not see any other color beside the red carpet at first we did not like it at all but as we look back at our pics it does look really nice and stand s out but it also will not work with our color scheme, as for the rose petals i think it will be a crap shoot there were def times when they would have stayed but for the most part they def would have blown away soif you can go a cheap route where you will not mind to much if they blow away i say go for it but if not then you might want to skip them but you will see when you do your site visit.
i love those bottles! I am certainly ordering those for my OOT bags . Never get sand in your drink again!

It is so easy to get a drink wherever you are at Dreams and we never ran on 'empty'.
I wouldn't spend on any cups since you would have to tote it along with you everywhere.
I personally would not have carried it around.

SusanK did make some really nice ones instead of OOT bags and stuffed them with nice items, but I cannot remember if she said people used them there or not.

I had the red one, which I completely forgot that they did until I looked out the window where I was getting ready.
I think it kind of curves a little bit too, so ordering one may not fit well on that walkway.
I took several packages of silk rose petals for the walkway, but it was SO windy that time of year they would have blown away in a second.
You can see in some of my pictures, my veil flew around my head and my dad is holding it behind his back while we were walking down the aisle.
It was *such* a pain, but I laughed it off.
It did make for good pictures later on, but I think if I had to do it again, I wouldn't wear the veil.

I totally agree with Paula!! It is way to windy the majority of the time to have petals on the aisle. I would save the money and use it some where else. I had a lot of problems with my veil as well and if it wasn't my moms, I wouldn't have worn one! I took it out as soon as the ceremony was done because I couldn't take it any longer!!

I actually LOVED the red aisle because it was gorgeous in all the pics and the walkway is a bit curvy, so it might be difficult to use your own runner.

And I have to say that I wouldn't reccommend the squirt bottles either. I know that I wouldn't use mine because I wouldn't want to carry it around. No one had any problems with sand in their drinks when we were there and it is nice to be able to just give the empty, sticky, and sandy bottom glass to the waiter/bartender. We did the koozies and everyone loved those and used them all 3 days. It kept drinks cold, and their hands dry from the glass sweat and because ours were neoprene, people just folded them up and stuck them in their pocket/beachbag.

PaulaV or anybody for that matter... Do you think that a shorter Veil would be better or would it be harder to maintain in the wind. I am still going back and forth with it. I may borrow a veil from my friend then try it when I get down there and if I think it is too windy not do it. I just want to know what the girls that have already been married there think.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
