New Pashmina Order

Recommended Posts

The shipping for each item on that vendor is $7.50. It doesn't appear that she is offereing a discount on shipping on bulk. But for $2.99, that is totally worth a shot, since we are having such issues with our order with Fashion Unic.

Through ebay auctions you can get them for $0.01 - I noticed that was the price people were paying when looking at the seller's feedback... it seems they sell the pashminas for $0.01 and then make their profit from the $7.50 shipping per item (dropped to $7.00 shipping per item if ordering more than 1). I just ordered one now, and if I like the quality I'll go back and probably bid for more from them. I don't need too many anyways, and time is not on my side so I thought I would go ahead and see what these are like.
If any one is interested I'll let you know what the quality is like and post a pic once I get mine :)

Thanks, Heidi! You can never tell what the quality will be like - if you could let us know and post a pic once yours arrives, that would be great!

No problem... I know, time is going by so quickly and I have so much left to do! About the only thing I seem to have a handle on is buying stuff online, and somehow it's making me feel more under control. Haha...
Hopefully the pashmina will arrive shortly... I'll be sure to write a review on it and post pics when it arrives.

  • 3 weeks later...

My pashminas arrived from ebay and I wanted to update anyone interested... I'm really pleased with them! I ended up buying more than 1 b/c I bought 11 from Lauren (lauren c.) so just decided to go ahead and buy the few extra I needed off ebay all at once. I bought patterned turquoise from the ebay seller and they're really soft and good quality for the price. Today is pashmina day for me b/c Lauren's also arrived today. I'm not sure where she bought the ivory ones from that I bought off her but also really nice - identical in quality, I would say, and I'm super pleased!

I originally asked the ebay seller if she would come down in price if I ordered around 30... she said she could sell them to me w/ shipping to Canada for $5.50 each (if I went through her and not ebay). B/c I ended up buying from Lauren I just went ahead w/ the ebay auction (you can get them for 1 cent) and paid $8 each for shipping to Canada. The ebay seller is crazyshop2046. It's against ebay rules but you could always contact her and see if she could do a deal for you outside of ebay if you're fine w/ that. Anyway, I'll post a few pics now (sorry first time posting pics so they may come out really large!). Let me know if you have any questions... the turquoise ones are from the ebay seller and the ivory from Lauren... thanks Lauren!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
