this girl from virginia actually came to my house and stayed with me for a week! tho it was initially awkward, it was an awesome time!
meeting the bdw girls was easier for me b/c i brought my sis (it was too far to come alone)...i didn't know how to greet everyone, so i just said hi and introduced myself. we immediately had tons to talk about, both wedding related and otherwise.
we didn't drink...though i plan to change that this time around wink.gif

jagged little pill was awesome, and i loved it...but her other stuff is incredible! btw, her new album comes out soon.

I agree with Christa...I'm awesome! JK! We barely talked wedding at all - we basically just talked about random stuff. The first few seconds are weird, but after that it's easy. And it's not like we wear t-shirts that say "We met online" or anything. No one knows except for us!

I agree with Yari.
I've been to two meetings, should have been three but I missed the very first one in San Juan. Anyways, I really think there is nothing to worry about when meeting these girls especially since we talk to eachother almost everyday.....I feel really comfortable when meeting the girls....and I'm sorry if I didn't I wouldn't stay very long.....(sorry if that sounds bitchy but it's true).
So I say be relaxed and if you have a weird feeling then excuse yourself but don't worry it won't be that bad. :)

I live too far away from everyone-pout-though I had hoped to meet up with the Canada girls. Everytime I talk about the forum my uncyber friends give me weird looks. I compare it to having lots of penpals!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
