For those of you that got married in Cabo in the SUMMER

Recommended Posts

That's great to know Tammy!

Well, I'm getting conflicting information about the sunset in July (some say its 7PM, some say its 8PM).

We wanted ample time for photos, so we were thinking about having our ceremony at about 4-5PM at the gazebo.

It's just the two of us and our families, so no groomsmen or bridesmaids.

I really hope there's a breeze that day.

Do a search on the forum, their used to be a link to a website that tells you around the time the sunset will be on any certain day.

I got married in July at 7pm at it was no problem - the breaze picks up in the evening and makes it cool down to a nice temp. I would recomend not wearing a dress that requires a big skirt thing under it - when I got my dress they suggested one so it would be really full but I said no and was glad I did - who wants to be walking around the beach with what feels like a bedspread undernieth your dress - no fun! Don't worry you will be fine!

So I haven't gotten married yet...and I am getting married at the end of Oct....but I too was very worried about looking sweaty in my pictures and am scared about my make up smearing or my eyelashes peeling off. I hired a person from suzane morel to stay with me until 7pm for touch ups on my hair and make up, making sure my veil is straightl, to put my hair flower on after we take couple pictures, to make sure my dress is okay...They're charging me $100 for this extra service

I know maura..I feel so blessed that our family and friends have decided to support us, but yet I feel stomach pains when I think of the costs.

I think Suzane uses MAc products so I'll let her know that i want to use their foundation. Thanks for the tip sweetie!

I can tell you - without a doubt - that sunset on July 22nd, will be at 8:00 p.m. Your ceremony may be scheduled as late as 7:00 p.m. so you still have great sunset photos... scheduling the ceremony at least 1.5 hours before the sunset would be best but you should be fine with a 7p.m. ceremony time. • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
