I have heard some brides love them, but I have never personally tried it!
I've used them before for formal events. They work great, except when you sweat, and in Cabo, you will probaby get a bit sweaty.

um, yeah, the girl looked at me like I had two heads, even when I explained to her why, probably just wanted to sell me one more thing. After she said I should wear one, I wasnt' really sure so I tried the dresses on with it, but now that I know I definetly don't want to wear one, I'll just tell them next time and try the dresses without. I think I may have even liked some of them better without it because they wouldn't have been so poufy.

Thanks everyone for the great advice, I appreciate it.

I bought the petticoat and bra...however if I was still getting married on the beach, I would not have the petticoat, most of the dresses are big enough without it, I just have a southern belle infatuation and really wish I could be scarlett o'hara for one day of my life...so my wedding day seems to be the perfect day for that.

By the way, I picked up my dress today and I totally forgot my camera, so I have to wait till FI leaves and I will figure out how to take some pics of it for you all

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
