I was on old navys sight the other day and the flip flops were on clearance for $1.99 each, but they only had white & orange, I think. Also if you set up a username on their site, they email you coupons from time to time.

Sarah,I thought I had seen fuschia ones at the old navy store last summer, they don't have them?

I just went on the Old navy site and they have several colors at 2 for $5 dls. they have a pink that is called love letter pink not quite fushia.

I know I read it in another thread. Do you guys celebrate afterwards? How does it work, does he ask you first and then you go ask your parents, or does he ask them first in front of you and then ask you? This sounds so cool. My FI asked my dad but only my dad and they went out to brunch together. Then he asked me like a week later.

He gave me the ring first and months after that he came to my house with his family (Traditionally his dad would ask for permission to my dad but his dad passed away a few years ago).

So he asked my dad, in front of all our family and then we had dinner and drinks there in my house.. cheesy.gif

I think the tradition is he should ask my parents first but now they do it backwards, it's so sweet your FI asked your dad first..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
