2 months to go and feeling OVERWHELMED!!!

Recommended Posts

Anyone else with less than 3 months to go until the big day and feeling a bit overwhelmed with the remaining things to do? I'm definitely getting there but I still waiting on the RSVPs which are due back March 15th. This number will determine how many of each thing i'll need. I'm almost done with Programs, menus, welcome letter... Got the Groom almost suited, got me almost gowned up. pressies are almost taken care of. Seems like i have a lot of stuff done just have a lot of little things like shoes, wrappings, printing everything out, organizing everything...and i'm getting freaked out.!!!

I am right there with you. I didn't even mail out hte invites yet! but that should happen tomorrow. I had completely forgotten directions to the AHR, so I printed them today, then I need to cut them and stuff them. I hope to work my fingers off tonight and complete it. There is so much to do still.

My sister and I are making the flowergirl dresses and we have the fabric and pattern and haven't even begun cutting (we have 2 to make). Oh yeah, and I am making all the OOT bags. Like sewing them from scratch. They are all cut and put together, I just need to sew them, so I hope thye just zip right along.

Lots of other stuff, but I am going to stop there before I have a heart attack.

Uh, YEAHHH!!! Add me to the number. I'm behind on a ton of things too. I'm trying to pull together my OOT bags, working on invitations, my groom is STILL not suited (and he doesn't want my help), I still need a veil, shoes, jewelry, clothes for the trip, and so much more. The final payment from my guests is due March 21, so I'm in the home stretch here! I've been making lists and trying to cross stuff off every day.

Yup... I already am having sleepless nights thinking of all the things I have to do. The UPS man is becoming my new best friend. I still have to send out the invites... not to mention MAKE THEM! Haha... I have all the materials now and I've set aside this coming entire weekend to work on them and get them sent out... I also want to get going on a wedding website. Oh... and sew the colored table overlays I'm making (still waiting to hear from WC as to the table measurements). I still have to do the iron ons for the OOT bags... and so many other things... I, too, better stop here before I give myself a heart attack.

I have a long list of things I have yet to do.

OOT Bags...just ordered YESTERDAY

Still have to do the iron transfers when they come in

Then putting all the stuff together that goes in the OOT bags

Haven't gotten the raffia fans yet, then when they come I have to put the ribbon & flowers on them

INVITES...HELLO....Those will probably go out next week!!!!

Travel Info Packet

Welcome Letter

Wedding Jewelry

Programs

Favors

And I'm the one who said that I wanted to be packed at least 2 weeks before the wedding. Why do I think thats not gonna happen.

Sigh...I'm gonna go cry again. I don't know what happened. Where did the time gohuh.gif?girl_werewolf.gif

Ahhhh! I'm so glad I read this thread early on, I think I might make myself sick if it was more than one page long so far. Just reading how close and how busy all you 2 month-ers are has made my tummy in a knot sad.gif

You know what, I think I'm gonna invite my girlfriends to a "HELP YOLANDA GET HER STUFF TOGETHER" Assembly Party.

I get a funny feeling that I'd be the only one there!!!

I may have to disguise this as a "LETS HAVE SOME DRINKS" Party just to lure them in.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
