Lauren, you're back, congrats! Looks like everything was great! I can't wait to see this video and see what the heck the dude is talking about lol. I can't believe a monkey bit you!!! That's crazy and definitely a story to tell hehehe.

 

Now I'm off to find a cookie, since I'm craving one after reading your Pie in the Sky review. Mmmmmm

Great review!!! Gaby really is great once you're there...even if things take a while when you're emailing and stuff. I'm glad everything turned out so well!!!

 

I checked out your photogs site...GORGEOUS!!!! You guys got a great one for sure!!

i forgot to mention the fireworks. we did the small package ($610 for: 6 medium bombs, 10 small & 20 special comets) and added letters onto it. the package was nice, just enough to be special. the letters were totally not worth it. we did L & K @$40 each. we totally thought they'd be in the sky, like fireworks...not the case - they used some kind of wire to mold the letters and put sparklers (or something to that effect) all around it, lighting up the L & K. totally a rip and we were upset for about 30 seconds before we got over it.

and the one on my shoulder just reached up and bit me. the dude at the place just laughed, and i panicked. it didn't break the skin, but i almost threw them off of me, and ran to the bathroom to wash every uncovered area of my body. no more monkeys for me.monkey.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
