Have fun by the way!! That's exciting! Mine isn't for another 6 weeks!
Sorry, I keep highjacking!!!

I'm supposed to be going to babysit my 3 year old nephew, so there is no way if I really thought I was doing that I'd be wearing a cute outfit...lol!

I'm really excited, when my friends and I throw bridal showers they usually end up being all night drinking sessionsshots.gif

This is a great thread for me- mine is next weekend!! There will be 18 of us- my mother, sister, sister-in-law is hosting- and it's at a cute little "hip" lunch place in downtown Charlotte- afterwards we are getting our nails done and maybe a little shopping.... It's still kinda cold in NC- so I was thinking dark jeans and a cute, fitted blazer w/ heels?!?!? it won't have anything to do with the beach, or Mexico, though...hmmm.....

Just want to say I love BDW! Every time I have a question stewing in my brain and I log on and find itâ€s on someone else brain too. Thanks for asking this, my shower is coming up on the 16 of March and I have nothing to wear. I need ideas before going shopping too. My shower will be more conservative as it will be mostly Timâ€s family (my family is in Cali  ) and we will be having a crochet lesson and making granny squares for a keepsake afghan ( yup, I just exposed my little old lady side). Anyways, I need something cute but practical that says I really am young (er) and not in my 80â€s. And it is still freezing here so something warm too.

What should I wear?!?!
I absolutely LOVE jeans (b/c I think that's what I look best in), so if you like jeans, maybe a pair you love and a cool top?

I am going as wonder woman! but no idea what the night will entail.. we just have hen's nights in Australia which I guess is the equivalent of a bridal shower. It usually is outrageous and full of games and usually more crazy than the guy's bucks night..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
